After our Halloween costume battle, I thought for sure Austin would fight the snow gear. To my surprise, he LOVED it...especially the mittens. He kept looking at his little hands and tapping his fingers and thumbs together.
When we got outside, he went right to playing in the white stuff. It was funny watching him try to keep his balance, then falling, and needing help back up.
He was very concerned that his little slide was covered in snow, and went right to work trying to clean it off.
What a blessing it is to be able to relive the magic of the seasons through the eyes of a child!

I love the pictures of him in his puffy little coat. Its amazing he could even walk with his little body all bundled up...We love him a tonne. He's one of Kennas favorite little cousins...jb
Snow! We want some of that! Kids are so cute in their marshmellow snowsuits! The only time my kids remember snow from was when the fake snow maching brought some to Florida and they got to slide down a man made "hill" (it was like 3 feet tall). We hear though that we get the occasional sprinkling here in OR and there's a ski resort in a neighboring town, so maybe...Glad you are enjoying winter!
I love that he thought it was bubbles. If I saw that outside my window, I'd probably think the same thing.
I love the video. He is such an adorable little guy. Really, he is.
Happy Winter to ya!
