Brief recap of our lives

Hi! So, I thought I would give a brief run down of our lives...in particular the last year or so.

Justin and I got married June 12, 2003 in Bountiful, Utah. I finished school a year later. We have both been working full time (me as a labor and delivery nurse, and Justin as a cardiac sonographer) until just recently...I will explain in a little bit!

We had a house built in West Jordan, UT about a year and a half ago. We moved in November 2005...needless to say there is still a lot of decorating and "making it homey" stuff to do. This is an old picture of the house, when it was still under construction.

We are expecting our first child June 5, 2007. It is a little boy, and we have yet to come up with a name for him. The beginning of the pregnancy was filled with lots of sickness on my part...morning sickness that lasted all the time. I had to switch my work schedule around from being a full time night-shift nurse to only working days. Yet, even with that change I still lost 16 pounds!

At 31 weeks, I started contracting while at work, and found the joys of pre-term labor. My doctor now has me on "modified bed-rest" and I have had to quit work until I am at least 36 weeks. So, now I am trying to find things to do with my time, while taking it easy enough that I don't have any contractions.

Here are a few pregnant pictures. They are not the best, and the most recent ones I can't figure out how to get on here correctly right now.

March 16, 2007 while in Texas

April 13, 2007. Can you tell that I am loving "bed rest"?

We were able to take a trip to Houston to visit family last month. We decided to drive this time, so that we could stop at different places along the way. It was a long drive, but we were able to go to Arches, Mesa Verde, and Carlsbad Caverns along the way.
While in Houston we went to the rodeo, saw bluebonnets (seen in the picture above), visited the Blue Bell creamery (and ate a little of it too!), and my Mom had a baby shower for me.
So, now we are just moving on with our lives...patiently waiting for our little guy to arrive, yet hoping he decides to stay in at least a couple more weeks if not months. We are doing very well all things considered.
Since Justin does ultrasounds for a living, we have been very spoiled with being able to "peek" at the baby pretty much whenever we want to. This is the most recent picture we have, and probably one of the best/cutest. Isn't that a cute profile?? We sure love it already!!
